Subrogation Services & Assistance:
COP provides Subrogation (recovery) services and assistance to
surety companies on claim files by working closely with the surety
to determine the best course of action in pursuing recovery of its
losses. COP collects, reviews and analyzes asset information on the
surety’s personal and corporate indemnitors and provides
comprehensive written reports to assist the surety with determining
the best course of action. When directed, COP can assist with all
levels of recovery by contacting the indemnitors directly and, if
necessary, retaining local counsel to assist with the process. COP
provides the surety with monthly or quarterly reports with a
detailed Project Summary and Loss Report for each file in “subro”
status.
